Oncor Rural Commercial Energy Efficiency Program
To help businesses in non-metro and rural Texas communities reduce energy costs and improve building performance, Frontier Energy partners with Oncor Electric Delivery to deliver the Rural Commercial Energy Efficiency Program. The program provides technical guidance, energy assessments, and financial incentives that help commercial customers implement energy-saving improvements while reducing operational expenses.
Approach
Rural businesses often face unique barriers to implementing energy efficiency upgrades, including limited access to technical resources, capital constraints, and fewer local service providers. The Oncor Rural Commercial Program addresses these challenges by providing personalized support and enhanced incentives for eligible commercial customers located in Oncor's rural service area. Through customer engagement, project development assistance, and incentive funding, the program helps participants identify and implement cost-effective energy efficiency measures that deliver long-term savings.
Frontier Energy:
- Implements the program on behalf of Oncor Electric Delivery.

- Provides no-cost energy assessments and technical guidance.
